Product of the Month

3 Day Kakadu Dreamtime SafariThis 3-day safari gives passengers the opportunity to see and experience some of the great natural beauty Australia has to offer.

Murdudjurl Camp2

The first day of the itinerary includes transportation to the Dreamtime Safari Camp on the banks of the Murdudjurl Billabong, and the Murdudjurl Cultural Tour, which allows passengers to learn more about local aboriginal people and their country. The day concludes with dinner around the camp, under the stars.

Day two of the safari’s itinerary consists of a trip to Twin Falls and Jim Jim Falls, rain fed waterfalls in an area of incredible natural beauty. This day also wraps up with dinner back at the camp.

Kakadu Billabong Cruise

The safari’s final day includes a cruise of the spectacular Yellow Waters, home to a wide variety of bird life and possibly the lurking Saltwater Crocodile. Passengers will also observe the crystal clear rock pool and scenic beauty of Barramundi Gorge, and the colourful rock art and spectacular scenery of Ubirr Rock, before returning to Darwin in the evening.

Outback Ballooning

  • All Seasons Perth will be painting the corridors & hotel rooms, and work is expected to be completed by August 2008.

The Victoria Hotel

  • The new expected completion date for renovations at The Victoria Hotel, All Seasons is January 2010

Gray Line- Tasmania Changes

  • Cadbury Tour- The walking tour of the working factory has been replaced by a comprehensive talk and visual presentation of Cadbury history by Cadbury’s qualified tour guides.
  • Cadbury Tours now includes a visit to the Maritime Museum: View extensive collections of historic items, paintings and ships models
  • Huon Valley Tour- Sunday departure has been deleted Oct to Apr.

Saville & Pacific International Hotels

  • Saville and Pacific International’s apartment-style hotels have been re-branded into the Mantra portfolio.

Tjapukai

  • From 01 May 2008 Tjapukai will no longer be running the 4.15pm Dance Show. The last dance show for the day will be 2.15pm.

Mercure Perth

  • Mercure Perth is undergoing a refurbishment of all bedrooms and corridors in East Wing. Expected to be completed by 14th August 2008

Doherty Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre

  • The Doherty Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre will under go a refurbishment on all bathrooms over the next few months.
  • Expected to be completed by 15 July 2008.

Terraces on Wickham

  • Entire accommodation refurbishment will be completed by August 2008.
  • Guest Lobby, Restaurant and Hotel Exterior refurbishment has already commenced.

All Seasons Oasis Alice Springs

  • All Seasons Oasis is currently undergoing refurbishment which is expected to be completed by 30th September 2008.

Aboriginal Culture Tours
Changes to popular Aboriginal Sacred Sites and Culture Tour.

  • Now operating at 10 am everyday except Thursdays and Sundays and includes Tastes of the Outback 3 course buffet lunch.

Sydney Wildlife World

  • From 01 June Sydney Wildlife World will be closing at 6 pm.

Rendezvous Reef Resort Port Douglas

  • Rendezvous Reef Resort Port Douglas is currently undergoing an exciting $8 million refurbishment program.
  • Expected to be completed towards end of August

Travelodge

  • The Travelodge Wynyard major refurbishment is now complete.
  • Travelodge Blacktown and Manly are currently undergoing refurbishments due for completion in July.

Intercontinental Hotels Group
The following hotels will be undergoing refurbishments during the noted time periods. Measures have been put in place to minimise guest disturbance.

  • Crowne Plaza Melbourne (June – Sep. 2008)
  • Holiday Inn on Flinders Melbourne (June – Sep. 2008)
  • Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour (End May – End July 2008)

Refurbishments are completed at Holiday Inn Cairns, and construction is expected to continue on adjacent building until September 2008.
