Please be informed that the Australian Government has introduced additional aviation security measures at international and domestic terminals at Australia’s major airports. Customers can therefore expect to experience an increased level of security scrutiny at the airport so it may take a little longer than usual to get through the process.
The new recommendations are as follows:
- Passengers should arrive at the airport two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international flights to allow ample time for screening.
- Passengers should limit the amount of carry-on and checked baggage they travel with as this will help to ensure security screening is efficient.
There are no changes to what can and cannot be carried on-board the aircraft.
To assist with these new recommendations, we are changing our transfers pick up times for clients going to airports to 2. 5 hours prior to flight departure time for Domestic Departure, and 3.5 hours prior to flight departure time for International Flight Departures.
We are making contact with all clients in-country in regards to the changes.
The above affects all major airports, eg in all Australian capital cities, until further notice.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
